Moving Forward. Stronger.
Important News About Our Parent Company
As you may already know, our parent company recently took an important action to protect our employees and ensure our hospital can continue to provide care during this unprecedented time. The company has reached an agreement to voluntarily restructure its debt.
This restructuring is good news for our hospital, which is unaffected and remains open and available to provide patient care.
You may receive a legal notification by mail regarding this restructuring in the coming days, as well as additional similar notices over the next few months. These notices are being mailed to many current and former patients. The legal notice is lengthy and complex, but please know this is a customary part of the financial restructuring process and will not impact our relationship with you.
As we face these challenging times together, I want you to know how much we appreciate the loyalty and support of our patients. Our dedicated staff continues to serve on the frontlines of the COVID-19 response, heroically caring for patients and finding new ways to meet our community’s healthcare needs.
To make receiving care more convenient for patients, we are providing new tele-health physician office services. Our hospital emergency department remains open to care for emergencies because heart attacks, strokes and broken bones don’t wait for coronavirus. COVID-suspected patients are separated from other non-COVID patients who are experiencing life-threatening emergencies.
What this means for our hospital
- We continue caring for patients as we always have.
- Employees’ salaries or benefits will not be impacted.
- Our relationships with vendors and suppliers will continue.
- Most importantly, our commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care will not change.
