      Gallbladder Surgery
      Gallbladder

Does everything you eat cause pain?

Pain in the upper right or upper middle of your stomach after eating is often caused by a gallbladder condition, such as gallstones. If you’re suffering from this or symptoms including nausea, vomiting, fever, yellowing of the skin and eyes, or bloating, don’t wait to get help. We’ll provide a careful diagnosis.

And if gallbladder surgery is needed, we may be able to use minimally invasive techniques that require only tiny incisions.

Call 606-789-3072 or 606-789-4009 today and make an appointment to speak with one of our board-certified surgeons. Same-day consultations are often available.

The gallbladder is located under the liver, which stores and collects bile produced in the liver. When your gallbladder is acting up you will experience pain when eating, particularly when eating fatty foods.

Other symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, fever, yellowing of the skin and eyes and a bloated belly. One reason for having a gallbladder removed is the presence of gallstones. They can be as small as a grain of sand to as large as a golf ball. Gallbladder removal is a common surgery and is performed using general anesthesia.

Call 606-789-3072 or 606-789-4009 for information and appointments. Same day appointments may be available.

Patient results may vary. Consults your physician about the benefits and risks of any surgical procedure or treatment.
