Admitting
Our admitting staff is trained to complete the necessary paperwork in a timely, efficient manner. If you have a MED-KY Card, this process is streamlined. You need to present your MED-KEY Card, your insurance card, and some form of identification. If you do not have a MED-KEY Card, we'll get the necessary information from you and we'll drop a MED-KEY Card in the mail for your next visit.
Insurance Verification
The admissions clerk will usually have your insurance benefits verified before you leave to enable you to know your financial obligations associated with the care and services provided at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
Financial Counseling
If you cannot pay the deductible require, you will be asked to speak with a member of our team. Our staff are trained to assist you with meeting your financial obligations. We accept all major credit cards.
Billing
We file your insurance claims for you. However, we remind you that your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance company. We have many agreements with insurance companies where we have agreed to accept a certain amount for providing services to you. However, almost no insurance company pays 100% of that amount. Your insurance company will require a deductible and a percentage of the reminder, known as co-pay.
