National Girl Scout Birthday Celebrated at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center

Local Girl Scouts recognized a baby born at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center as an honorary scout in honor of the National Girl Scout Birthday. 

March 12 marked the the 98th birthday celebration of Girl Scouting in the United States.  For 98 years and counting the program has offered girlsthe ability to discover the world around them, connect to others in a more meaningful way, and to take action to make the worls around them a better place.  

Samantha Stambaugh, a Jr. Girl Scout from Johnson County's Troop #1066 is a member of the new local Girl Scout Teen Leadership Council, enjoyed presenting the hand-made teddy bear and Honorary certificate to baby Brody Lewis and his parents. The teddy bear was courtesy of Girl Scouts of Kenticky's Wilderness Road Council and their local TLC group.
